Career and College Promise (CCP) is an opportunity for eligible high school students to take courses at Wake Tech Community College and receive both high school and college credits.
Who is eligible for enrollment?
Students must meet the Wake Tech CCP eligibility standards in order to take classes. Eligibility is based on grade level, GPA, test scores, pathway, and any other requirements listed by Wake Tech. Students should have an unweighted 2.8 GPA to participate.

NOTE: All students must meet course prerequisites before registration.
How much does it cost?
Wake Tech CCP classes are TUITION FREE to high school students.
Students and families are responsible for purchasing books and other class supplies.
What classes can students take?
Wake Tech CCP offers students two pathways for students at KHS - College Transfer and Career and Technical Education (CTE). Each pathway offers several program areas.
How do I get started?
Please review the KHS Steps to Enrollment and the Wake Tech CCP website to get started with Wake Tech CCP. There are several steps that you need to take to apply and enroll in the program and to register for classes. Speak with your school counselor for more details. You can also complete the CCP Interest Form, and someone will contact you.

Do I need to apply for CCP every term? |
Yes, you need to apply for each term (Fall, Spring, and Summer. The first time that you apply, use the New Student Application. After the first time you apply and are accepted, use the Continuing Student Application. You also need to request and submit a new transcript with each application. |
Do I need to turn in a Dual Enrollment form every time I apply for CCP? |
Yes, please turn in a Dual Enrollment form signed by you and your parent/guardian to KHS Student Services. Make sure that you and your parent/guardian read the back of the form. Your Online Consent Form will not be signed until you turn in a Dual Enrollment Form. |
