Registration Timeline
Registration Dates: February 23, 2026 - March 13, 2026
- Course descriptions can be found in the WCPSS Program Planning Guide.
- Students will complete their registration on paper and enter elective course selections into Infinite Campus. Students are highly encouraged to review the course selection sheet and registration resources on this website.
- All applications are due by March 13, 2026.
- Course verifications are scheduled to be provided on March 26, 2026. Students will have until April 1, 2026 to return with a parent/guardian signature for agreement or to make changes.
- No changes to course selections will be made after Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
- Please note that dates may be adjusted based on the district timeline and additional factors.
Week of February 23, 2026
11th Grade Students (Rising 12th Grade Registration)
Counselors will meet with students in small groups of 4-5 (Junior Conferences) through English III and/or American History classes. If students do not have either of these courses this semester, they will have a scheduled appointment.
Week of March 2, 2026
10th Grade Students (Rising 11th Grade Registration)
Counselors will meet with students through their English II course. If students do not have English II this semester, they will have a scheduled registration appointment with a counselor in a small group setting.
Week of March 9, 2026
9th Grade Students (Rising 10th Grade Registration)
Counselors will meet with current 9th grade students through selected math classes. If the student does not have the scheduled math class, students will have a scheduled registration appointment with a counselor in a small group setting.

Rising Senior Applications
Applications are due by March 13, 2026. No late applications or requests will be accepted.
- Rising seniors may request Modified Day (Early Release and/or Late Arrival for 1st and/or 2nd semester). Students must have two consecutive periods each day. Students must be on track for graduation and have met all requirements for Modified Day.
- Mid-Year Graduation is for rising seniors who need 4 or less credits to graduate and would like to graduate after 1st semester. Requests require a parent/student conference with the student's assigned counselor and must be approved by administration.
Applications are due by March 13, 2026. No late applications or requests will be accepted.
Rising Junior Early Graduation Application
Early Graduation is for rising juniors who would like to graduate in 3 years. Requests require a parent/student conference with the student's assigned counselor and must be approved by administration.

- Families fill out the Early Graduation application and submit it to Student Services by the end of the Course Registration window.
- The student’s counselor will review if the student meets the minimum requirements to be an Early Graduate and contact the family.
- The principal makes the final approval of all applications.
Please note:
- Students will have to maintain progress towards the NC required 22-credits to remain eligible for the Early Graduation option.
- The school will notify parents/guardians if a student is not meeting the minimum requirements and the student will no longer be eligible for the Early Graduation option.

Rising Freshman 3-Year Graduation Application
3-Year Early Graduation is for rising freshmen who would like to graduate in 3 years. Requests require a parent/student conference with the student's assigned counselor and must be approved by administration prior to the first day of school.
